Week 21 Update, Plus Ultrasound Pics!!

Sorry about the lateness of the day for this post, but it's been a busy week. As always to start, here is the update from babycenter.com

Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.

First of all, here are the pictures!
The 'face' pictures made me think "zombie baby!!!"

Well the babycenter.com is a little off from what my doctor says. We had our 20 week ultrasound on friday (YAY) and she said that the baby is probably about 14oz right now. So I am either going to deliver early, or have a good size baby! But either way, as long as he/she is healthy, I'll be happy.

As I've said before, we are not finding out the gender of the baby, and that is what we told the ultrasound technician. So even after the appointment, we still don't know what it is.

I had a routine prenatal visit today, and my nurse practitioner said my weight, belly size and everything is right on track. So yay for being healthy!!

So in other good news this week, I'm pretty sure I felt the baby kick for the first time! I was laying in bed just watching some stuff on the internet, and I felt a jab in my lower tummy. So I poked back to see what would happen, and I felt it again! My doctor said that it was most likely the baby kicking. She also said it shouldn't be long before I have unmistakeable feelings of the baby kicking and moving. I'm so excited!!

So today I was told to sign up for birthing classes, so I looked at the places that my doctor suggested, it's over $100 to take a 6 day class! So I went to babycenter.com to see what they had, and they have online classes that are free! I think we will just go with those for now, the internet has lots and lots of information about labor and birth.

Well that's it for now I think. Thanks for reading and God Bless!!
