Week 25 Update!

Yay for getting this post out on the right day! From babycenter.com
Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. Her weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but she's beginning to exchange her long, lean look for some baby fat. As she does, her wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and she'll start to look more and more like a newborn. She's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

I'm feeling the baby move very regularly now. The only problem is he/she will move for a bit, but not long enough for me to grab my husbands hand so he can feel! Silly baby. So if you want to feel baby move, it will take patience.

I'm finally getting nervous about becoming a mom. Before I was pretty confident that this is what is I'm meant to do and this is God's plan for me. But for some reason, I'm getting more nervous as time progresses. Mostly cause I'm worried about finances and weather I'll need to be a working mom, but other things too. Like will I be able to cope with labor pains, and will everything be ready when baby comes? I know that if God didn't want us to have a child right now, we wouldn't be, so I know this is His plan for our lives. I just wish I had a little more peace of mind right now.

This week I have another routine doctor appointment, but I also have to take the glucose-screening test. My best friend says they are not fun (Thanks Bec.....). I'm not looking forward to the stuff I have to drink, but at least when it's done, it's done. (For now anyway)

Other then that, I could use prayers for heartburn relief and prayers that I'll keep up with my walking. It's been very hard while it's been so hot, but I have a goal to keep my weight as healthy as possible so that I can loose all the baby weight soon after delivery. (when I say soon, I mean a reasonable time period)

Thanks again for reading and God Bless!
